Product Advantages

1. Superior Magnetic Performance

The core is wound along the best magnetic conductivity direction of grain-oriented silicon steel, which fully utilizes the superior magnetic performance of grain oriented silicon steel and exhibits small magnetic circuit distortion. Therefore, the no-load loss and no-load current of wound transformer cores are smaller than those of laminated transformer cores (the laminated core has lamination seams, which will cause magnetic circuit distortion). Generally, under the same conditions, the no-load loss of the wound transformer core is reduced by 7%~10% compared with the laminated transformer core; the no-load current can be reduced by 50%~75%.

Besides, the winding technique also allows for a more uniform distribution of magnetic fields, which in turn reduces eddy current losses and improves the core’s efficiency.
